Using Email Pulse could be as simple as copying HTML snipped associated with a product stream you desire to use (or, if you are using Klaviyo email app, it could be as simple as reusing a universal content component previously saved from Email Pulse into your 'Templates | Universal content' section of the Klaviyo app).
Getting Started Steps
To get started with Email Pulse, follow these simple setup steps to integrate it with your existing systems:
STEP 1: Connect Your Product Catalog
For Shopify Users: If your store runs on Shopify, Email Pulse will automatically detect and link to your product catalog. To verify this connection, navigate to Settings > Catalog in the app. If your store supports multiple languages, you can also add additional locales here.
For Non-Shopify Users: If your store is not on Shopify, you will need to connect Email Pulse to Google Merchant Center, which provides access to your store’s product catalog. To set up this connection, go to Settings > Integrations in the app.
STEP 2: Integrate with Klaviyo
For Klaviyo Users: If your marketing team uses Klaviyo, enable the connection between Email Pulse and Klaviyo under Settings > Integrations. This integration allows Email Pulse to access user-specific events stored in Klaviyo, enhancing personalized email content.
Enhancing Shopper Recognition: Other apps like Elevar, Triple Whale, Retention.com, and similar tools can help identify more shoppers visiting your store and log their activity as events in Klaviyo. To leverage data from these apps, go to Settings > Integrations and select which events Email Pulse should use.
For Non-Klaviyo Users: Email Pulse is designed to work with any email system. While direct integration with Klaviyo unlocks additional personalization capabilities, you can still use Email Pulse to enhance emails on other platforms.
STEP 3: Generate Your First Product Stream
Email Pulse provides a wizard tool to help you choose from a rich library of ready-to-use Product Streams that best suit your automated email flows or campaigns. These Product Streams enhance emails with a highly personalized shopping experience.
Go to the Product Streams section in the app.
Use the drop-down menus to select the type of email campaign and your business goals.
The wizard will generate a shortlist of Product Streams that match your criteria.
Choose the Product Streams you want to add to your emails, then copy the HTML snippet and paste it into the body of your target email.
Note: If you are using Klaviyo, you can also save a Product Stream as "Universal Content" in the Templates section. This allows you to easily reuse it across multiple email campaigns directly within your Klaviyo app.
